Congratulations to three of Borrego Springs Elementary students, Hannah Harper, Isabella Daniel, and Sita Antel for being among this year’s winners of the Anza-Borrego Desert Photo Contest. Hannah and Isabella tied for second place honors and Sita received third place honors in the Youth Division. Yesterday I had the privilage of meeting with Martha Deichler, Principal of Borrego Springs Elementary School. I came away from that meeting totally energized about the work the school is doing to prepare our young people for the future.
